Since starting in Year 7 just one week ago, I have already been made to feel incredibly welcome at  The Sacred Heart and I am looking forward very much to my time at the school.

My biggest passion is the arts, particularly music and drama, and I am happy that Sacred Heart values and supports these too.  My primary school, St John’s in Stanmore, gave me the opportunity to start learning the cello when I was six years old and I am fortunate that my long-term teacher Miss Keane will also be teaching me in secondary school, as I continue my preparations for grade 8.

I love the buzz of performing on stage, whether it be playing with the orchestra or acting in school plays and musicals, and I would be thrilled to have the chance to do both at Sacred Heart.

As well as the cello, I also play the piano and am a keen writer and I hope to be able to develop my musical and literary interests further over the next five years, both in and out of school, with a view to a future career in this field.
