Alicja
My name is Alicja and I am in Year 11. Before becoming a part of the Sacred Heart I went to St. Swithun Wells’ Catholic Primary School in Ruislip. I did not know many other girls when I first started but soon that all changed. What I really love about The Sacred Heart is the warm sense of belonging that links all the pupils and staff.
I have been a School Council representative and enjoyed the opportunity to represent the opinions of my form. This helped me to have the confidence to represent The Sacred Heart as an active member of the Harrow Youth Parliament. I really enjoyed organising the whole school elections for our new HYP representatives this year. I also get involved in the sporting life of the school and I am in the netball team and I have enjoyed going on trips. Most recently I visited the Royal Society for Science as part of the STEM club where we do extension projects in science, technology and engineering.
My favourite subject is music because it is both practical and creative. I enjoy getting involved in lots of musical activities such as the orchestra, Gospel choir and windband. After I leave The Sacred Heart I would like to study Musicology and go on to become a Music teacher.
I have now been appointed as Head Girl
